Various styles of the Female Mad Hatter Costume

By: M. Lewis

There are a few occasions when you might want to dress up in a fun costume. Many of the current costumes are based on popular television and movie characters, such as the styles from Alice in Wonderland. The Female mad hatter costumes are a popular item and are designed a little differently than the men's costumes. You can find this costume for women available in several flirty styles. This particular outfit will usually come with a short dress skit and top bodice section. A variation is the more subtle design, which includes a miniskirt and bolero style long sleeve jacket in bright blue.

Some of the flirty designs may come as a single dress, while others may have a separate top and skirt. The outfit may also include stripped stockings that can be thigh high or full sized pantyhose. All of these hatter style costumes will include the matching oversized hat with ribbon trim. Some women's outfits include a matching bowtie piece as well. This tie comes on an elastic band and attaches around your neck. Another accessory that may be included, are long black gloves. These may be constructed from solid material or lace depending on the particular costume.

All of these costumes are available in different colors. You could choose a satin shimmery design in sky blue with black trim or a colorful style with green skirt and purple bodice. Most of the hatter outfits are available in small, medium and large sizes. You might find a few styles that also come in plus sizes for the larger woman. You can also add your own accessory items to create an original look for your costume. High heeled boots and lacy garters are a nice touch to the shorter skirt styles. Whatever design you choose, you are sure to grab the attention of everyone in the room with your flirty hatter costume
